The gospel-singing group, Nu Image, has been energizing audiences throughout the country since 1990. Nu Image’s blend of gospel music, that includes traditional, contemporary and urban contemporary, along with the incorporation of inspirational and patriotic music, has made this group a favorite of varied audiences. Nu Image ministers in many venues, singing for the terminally ill at Camp Blue Bird; opening for other artists such as John P. Kee, Dottie Peoples, Bobby Jones, Dorothy Norwood, the Hawkins Family, Keith “Wonder Boy” Johnson, and others; performing with Mobile Symphony Orchestra; inspiring audiences during America’s Junior Miss Pageant, National Black Programmers’ Convention, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Regional Convention, Bayfest, First Night Mobile, Arts Patrons Arts and Crafts Festival, the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. Mid-winter Board Meeting; appearing on televised programming on TBN; and lifting praises in many places of worship throughout the country. Nu Image sponsors Youth On the Winning Side, bringing together youth and young people from throughout the community and the country. In existence since 1991, this event attracts hundreds of youth and young people each summer and thousands over the years have made life-changing decisions.
